..Everything was so fuzzy. He couldn't see anything at all. Nothing conspicuous. His senses felt like they were failing him except for his sense of smell. He couldn't hear anything but the sound of silence and see nothing but dim lighting through the eye that had dared to open, his blue eyes looking around. His armor had been ripped in pieces, his visor thrown away and he'd had to resort in finding cloth to put his hair back in a headband. The sharp smell of iron hit his feline like nostrils and he sniffed in,then gingerly ran an un-gloved hand across his face,the wetness on it telling him he was bleeding rather copiously and from a quick, as best as he could, inspection, he had wounds elsewhere as well.

After Ratchet had defeated him, he remembered those words he'd said and Ace knew he was going to prison for those crimes he committed, crimes of which he felt guilt for and knew full well he deserved to be locked up. What he hadn't expected though was to be punished in front of everyone and thrown into this little cell, a temporary housing until he got to the real deal.

He hadn't bothered fighting back, knowing full well he deserved what he got and though it stung his narcissistic pride he went through with it. In fact, it had humbled him some. To think having gone from an adored hero to a murderer, a monster, through a span of a few years..it still amazed him.

Ace looked up silently, watching the cell door stay closed. He watched it for hours until he couldn't stay awake anymore and as dawn approached the loud sound of keys jingling startled him awake.

Two officers roughly grabbed the fallen hero and took him out,leading the battered gladiator in handcuffs out and into their vehicle and as Ace looked back at the place where he'd been held captive. He knew that this wasn't the end at all.

That he'd have to deal with the aftermath..whether he liked it or not..

Dark yes, probably out of character but I liked writing that bit. The picture is awful lol. I figured out how to make a better background a bit too late >< oh well, ignore it. This came out shit anyways. And I'm not used to doing sitting poses so that's why he looks weird. Yeah I got his armor wrong, bleh. It's so complicated anyways.
