The second half of my trade with She wanted some BFFLs and I was more than happy to draw them for her >v< You can never have too much Sally and Nicole! So this idea popped into my head of them just sitting back to back chatting, and as I was sketching, out of no where, Nicole's handheld wiggled it's way in there and then suddenly Tetris. I'm not sorry xDThanks for doing this trade with me, Maddie! It was so much fun

As many have said, Nicole playing Tetris on herself is cute.
I notice Sally's shorts are very low on her hips here. Out of curiosity, was that intentional?

And yea it was intentional, actually haha! I'm actually super excited that someone noticed that XD I must admit, I don't really know why it's become preference for me to draw them like that. I suppose it might has something to do with the fact that I tend to draw Sally with rather low and boxy hips, which is kind of fitting for her tomboy-esque nature. So her shorts being lower kind of accentuates this quality- also why she wears such long shorts, to compensate for it ^v^

Thank you! And yes, haha! I like to think so, at least. Nicole has always struck me as a retro kinda girl. She likes the classics like Tetris, Galaga and probably pac-man xD Deceitfully simple games that require a lot of skill to truly master- seems like Nicole to me xD

I shouldn't find this as funny as I do. XD I have a story for you that somehow correlates to this. So I'm a voice actor on a team of Sonic VAs, and I happen to play the part of Nicole. We occasionally stream while doing the voice impressions, and one of the things that's evolved with my interpretation of the character is the fact that she enjoys playing games like that when she's not busy helping the Freedom Fighters, specifically I've had her mention Tetris, Kingdom Hearts, Solitare, and Sonic 1 as games she plays on her system. XD So thank you for including Tetris in this picture, that made my day.

I have a huge respect for voice actors, especially ones that play their character(s) well, accurately, and take the time to add in their own special little headcanons to make them more personal! It makes me so happy to know that this picture could relate to you and your voice acting in such a way, I can't even express how cool that is to me
And for the record, I totally headcanon Nicole as a retro gamer as well XD Tetris, Pacman, Galaga, Frogger and the like haha! Those old arcade games haha, oldies but goodies! ;D

I'm still trying to get my Nicole in better shape, I was asked to audition with a British accent, so she has that, which I'm not too fond of. Though it's hilarious that all the tech characters are British, our Metal/Shard, who I've seen commission you a few times, is actually from the UK with the accent. XD So that's become a joke too. If you'd like, I can link you to some of our streams, some of them are kinda funny. Hey, it's always good to make connections. If we stream again, would you mind if I used your picture for my icon? I have a feeling our viewers would really be into that.

Haha, that's awesome! XD Something about the most intelligent characters having British accents, maybe? XD British = smart sounding according to basically everyone! I actually headcanoned a few Sonic characters with British accents long ago, but the problem was, the characters I chose made no sense and thus everyone I told laughed XD I actually think it kindof makes sense that Nicole could have an accent. I tend to lean more towards one on the robotic side, but regardless, I'm sure British is at least fun to voice and fun to listen to, on account of both Nicole and Shard(out of my own curiosity, are you referring to Cero here?)!
I would love to hear some of your streams as well! And I have no problem at all with you using the picture as your icon, haha! In fact, I'd be honored! You certainly don't strike me as the type to be like 'yes i drew this picture myself durr hurr', so by all means!

I apologize for the late response, to say the least life has been all over the place. XD Normally I wouldn't do this from my phone, but I don't like to keep people waiting.
Thank you for being one of the few people willing to talk to your fans, that means a lot to someone like me that gets so few messages back. I'm glad I could make your day just a little bit brighter. That's what I aim to do, the world needs more sunshine.
Oh most certainly I'm referring to Cero, he's been our Shard and Metal Sonic for a while. If you want someone cocky and assholeish, he's your guy, and I mean that as a compliment. He makes fun of my accent though, he's actually British, therefore he can see right through my bad impersonation. XD I wish we still did streams, but sadly our group is dwindling and dying. I can send you my playlist of our old work if you remind me. I still stream as Nicole on and off with some other folks, last time we had a great Doctor Finitevus that was willing to banter with me, it was a blast. Oh of course not, I would never screw you over, you're far too kind and deserve far better treatment than that.

I can't tell you how much that means to me, honestly. also fans wow that's a weird thought haha! It means the world to me when people comment on my things. Their reboot designs are so pretty I just couldn't not LOL
Supposedly, Nicole was going to have these plugs/cords in her hair like the original beaded sections from her pre-reboot design. However, for one reason or another (I would assume because the artists kept forgetting them or just found them too inconvenient), the idea got dropped officially pretty quickly and she hasn't been drawn with them since. So it's more or less an official/unofficial design idea for her haha! It really is a fun addition though!
