Description
The Diplotator is the hybrid of the amphibian Diplocaulus and the spinosaurid Irritator. It was originally created to attract more attention to the park as part of a project. It is a large amphibian, rivaling even the largest of crocodilians. It is very adapted to the water, with a strong tail, a sail to help it maneuver through the water, and a frill that’s runs down the length of its entire body for staying afloat. It has a feisty and aggressive personality, being extremely violent at times. There has been, until now, 5 casualties from this guy. It is highly territorial as well; it doesn’t help that it is surprisingly fast. It has a ginormous head compare to its body with spikes coming out of the end of its head. That ginormous head is mostly just jaws, a strong one at that rivaling the T.rex. Upon further study, we have discovered that it has 2 types of teeth: the set at the front are conical teeth, perfect for grabbing on to fish, the second set in the back are serrated teeth, perfect for tearing flesh from the body.It is 30cm( 1ft ) tall, 6.2m( 20.5ft ) long, and weighs 1,500kg( 3,300lb ). It feeds mostly on large fish, but it will also eat small animals that got into its enclosure and medium sized animals like deer. It eats like a monster, its giant head tearing through flesh and eating giant chunks whole. It is an absolutely awe striking and terrifying sight to see. It was to be expected since most amphibians also seem to have a black hole in their stomachs. Unlike the previous specimen I talked about, the Pelicanipteryx, it doesn’t require much attention or care other than feeding and checking its giving it proper sunlight. Its noises are also not as loud as the Pelicanipteryx, but they are still quite scary. It hisses, bellows, and grunts, all of them being very deep sounds that one can sometimes feel the vibrations. I also must say that it is a complete loner; it does NOT like attention, do not look it in the eye, it’ll think you are challenging it, trust me you do not want to see it angry.
