Did you know that soap bubbles can freeze in minus temperatures?
I discovered this after seeing that photo by JessiesPhotography and decided to try my luck! It's kind of a fascinating process but honestly, it's -35°C here lately, with a lot of wind, so it tends to break too fast (and I also tend to freeze faster than the bubble ). Will definitely try again!
EDIT: OMG Thank you so much for giving this photo a Daily Deviation!! I feel so glad about it!!
Thanks a lot to Great-Name for suggesting it and to Kaz-D for featuring it!

Looking at the thumbnail I totally bet it was a real moon behind a cloud. Incredible!
By the way, I've seen videos where soap bubbles, before freezing, take an interesting snowflake pattern . You should try to capture it! ^^

Thank you so much
Oh yeah, I have other photos where this phenomena appears! But the conditions were not good enough to capture it perfectly, the wind was strong and the cold... was too cold The bubbles froze in a couple of seconds! I need to experiment more to find better conditions

-35 degrees? Wow that must be FREEZING. Take off the minus and that's the kind of temperature I'm used to
Beautiful photo however! An experiment gone wonderous

Ahah -35°C is indeed difficult to handle, mainly because when it goes that low, it's because of the wind. And wind + cold is really not fun
But I prefer the cold to the heat
Thank you so much
