Did you know that soap bubbles can freeze in minus temperatures?
I discovered this after seeing that photo by JessiesPhotography and decided to try my luck! It's kind of a fascinating process but honestly, it's -35°C here lately, with a lot of wind, so it tends to break too fast (and I also tend to freeze faster than the bubble ). Will definitely try again!
EDIT: OMG Thank you so much for giving this photo a Daily Deviation!! I feel so glad about it!!
Thanks a lot to Great-Name for suggesting it and to Kaz-D for featuring it!

This is absolutely stunning. I had to stare at it for a few full minutes to take in the full detail of it. I love the glint of light at the top of the droplet. ^^

Thank you so much
It's quite amazing to see frost slowly taking over the bubble, really! And the sun was setting at the perfect time

You're very welcome. ^^ I've never really stayed to watch water freeze, although I have been present when it happens. It just normally freezes as soon as I turn around, lol. xD

lol, we never have low minus temperatures. But if we did, I would so do this...and then run back inside as fast as I could and wait for spring.

Wow, great! I really want to try it but I don't have anything to make the bubbles with plus I heard that it may be difficult to get the desired effect with only -10 degrees.
Anyway, the light and the pattern on the bubble are beautiful! I really love it

Thanks a lot
I always have a bottle of this, just in case
Thing is, the extreme cold made my hands freeze so much it fell from them at some point and the game was over
Went to buy some new ones yesterday but it was even colder and the wind made the bubbles fly away... in the end I just played with the cat who developed an addiction to the bubbles
I'll try again at -20°, should be 'easier' hopefully!
