Cancer can never be removed from the species and it's expected that the 'cures' we have will one day need to be tweaked as cancers take new forms etc....so if you can live a few hundred years and work in cancer research you will stay employed forever.

ahah yep, after much thought and crits, i decided that that part wasn't really adding much to the picture or was confusing :\
i still think it would have been funny if i had found a way to include it in a less distracting/obvious way
