K-Kopa//Nl-Nala//M-Mheetu//S-Simba

Kopa was still, looking at Nala.
Nl- You don't remember anything.... do you?
To everyone's surprise, those paintings started to remind Kopa about that day, about the attack, and about that lioness.
Kopa had very blurry flashbacks , the eyes of that lioness , reddish and full of hate . The lioness's paw which did not let Kopa escape and many more painful memories that made Kopa cry uncontrollably, Mheetu saw this and came closer to him, resting his head under Kopa's chin, Mheetu cried because he simply did not believe that Kopa was his sister's son and felt that he had separated Kopa from his parents for many years.
Kopa looked at Mheetu and began to calm down.
Finally, Kopa looked at Nala and Simba.
K- I am not going to lie to you , since Mheetu found me I knew nothing of my past , now I can remember some things , not everything obviously but I know you are not lying,
S- Son , we know this is hard to assimilate , we invite you both to stay as members of the pride.
Kopa looked at Mheetu, who nodded.
K- we will be happy to be part of your pride.
N- you have always been part of it, my son.
K- I thank you, but I want you to understand something, your majesties. Although you are my biological parents, for me Mheetu will always be my father. He has raised me all this time and will always be my father.
Nala and Simba looked at each other
Nl- okay Kopa , we will not force you to call us mom or dad , but call us Simba and Nala , not their highnesses .
Nala smiled
Nl- We are very proud of you
Kopa smiled
M- Nana, mom and Sarabi are still...?
Nl- Oh, yes, they are where they always are.
Mheetu smiled and looked at Kopa.
M- Do you want to meet your grandmother?
Kopa nodded, and they both left saying goodbye to Simba and Nala.
When they both left, they started to walk
M- Kopa ... what you said before, did you mean it?
K- Of course I do, you will always be my father, dad.
Kopa rubbed his head against Mheetu's mane while purring, Mheetu also purred while trying not to cry with emotion.
M- You will always be my son too, Kopa.
Mheetu said as he licked Kopa's head.
