Description
My goal here was to practice poses, trying to get out of my bad habit of drawing the same pose: standing up straight. I'm going to be doing a lot of practicing (if my motivation let me), trying to improve my skills and gain some experience. Why? If you ever been to an old Sonic fansite, Death Dude Inc (DDI), you should know that I was working on a sprite comic for the site. Problem: Backgrounds (sprite somewhat, but it was mostly backgrounds) and motivation issues. So, I never got the chance to work with it, as the site died in the typical fashion like any other sprite-comic sites: lack of updates.
Recently, I have been inspired with some new ideas (thank to the new Scooby Doo show, which was surprisingly better than I had first thought, with the whole 'mystery within a mystery' concept), and I got some concepts that could expand the comic idea farther. However, I realized that doing it in sprite comic isn't going to work, and the truth is, I really want to try my hand at drawing the comic for once.
I will check if any of the previous members of DDI (which might be a bit difficult) would still like to be in it. However, I will be making a few changes in my original concepts with a deeper story, new characters, and new elements and surprises. Right now, I'm working on the concepts, so I'll keep everything hush-hush for now.

Now, about the comic...I do not have the steady hands (it is part of a medical condition), so you can tell that there are a few mistakes in term of inking, especially with the girl's spike mohawk in panel four. Don't be too hard on the spindash and light-speed attack, it was the first time that I have done them (with no references to boot). I practiced with shading and a few effects, but they wasn't my main focuses, so don't be very critical with that. The texts in the comic is just to tell the story in the comic, I didn't really put too much effort into it, since it wasn't a focus point for me (so, again, be easy with me). Last, I'm not very good with hands and feet, so go easy on me about that.

Sonic belongs to Sega/Archie.
The short mute lizard girl belongs to me, just for this comic, and might not be used again.

it's really good- keep getting better! I know how it is with hand problems- some days I can't pick up a pencil after work don't give up!

Nice work on the panels. The overall flow of the comics works well and I like how you did the after image before Sonic hit the lizard girl. Will you be releasing a touched up version of this any time?

Heh, thank! And, yeah, I am thinking of using this for my lineart practice (maybe even improve some things...who know). I am hoping to get better quality lineart than I had been, and I am hoping that the new method that I'm going to use would not be time-consuming, since the goal in mind would to create good-quality lineart in the quickest way possible, even with my condition.
...That is...if I can just get pass a certain motivation problem first. I mean, I have finally gotten a drawing done (somewhat, that is, it's still in a WIP) on a camping trip, but that was about it. I still haven't touch on any of my sprite and some of my story projects I wanted to do, and my lineart projects is sleeping from boredom as it waited on me to paid it some attention. And, of course having new games and new interests taking up my time as well isn't helping a bit.
By the way, how is your own motivation-improving process going along? Any luck?

If I'm honest what you've done so far is brilliant so I say keep evolving what you've done here.
And TELL me about it. I know what you mean about putting projects like that on the back burner while you explore new things. For me personally I find watching TV is the best time I get to sketch, but that's assuming I want to pass my attention between sketching and what's on the telly AND I don't need any kind of internet reference (i.e. pose or design). But the thing is I want to evolve my old OCs but struggle to put pencil to paper.
