OMG yes! I have this headcanon that Papyrus is actually really good at sword combat, but he just isn't aware of it because Undyne won't train him to fight. Because he doesn't want to use actual weapons, he used a bone instead :3

I kinda have this sad headcanon that Papyrus doesn't actually think he's all that great because he used to be bullied when he was younger, so he thought that the only way to actually be confident in himself was to continuously spout how cool he was. Usually when he's alone he talks to the echo flowers about how he thinks really low of himself and how he doesn't want to let anyone, especially Sans know.
