Yes, I finally cracked and got myself a new computer. Well it is not my dream rig but it is a great update from my old one. What used to take 2 hours to render now takes about 5 minutes. This is so smooth!

Still not enough power to animate thing that is up to standard in a reasonable time yet, but This is already a great improvement.
