Done in Photoshop and Flash. I like the quality in Photoshop, but the animation(speed)in Flash, you can see both examples on my Tumblr: epicaistar.tumblr.com/post/124…I hate how hard or impossible it is exporting animated GIFs from Flash without losing its quality. :/
Hope you like it! Wanted to do it since a while and it feels good to bring one of my favourite characters to life.

It is not so hard, I used a dog runcycle(from the Preston Blair book)as reference and tweaked it(I also added one more pose to make the animation more fluid).

That's friggin' awesome! 8D I have that book, methinks (the basics of animation??) - I just haven't taken the time to actually learn to animate properly. I would love to someday.. when I get the patience?

Yes. Because that way I get the quality I want. But animating becomes harder, I'm almost blind since I can't flip between the frames like I can do in Flash or Toonboom. The images are then put in Flash to see if the animation works. Flash becomes a pencil tester.
I would love using Flash or Toonboom, but it is hard or impossible to export good quality GIFs.
