*WARNING! THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS!* The finale to Steven Universe was amazing! All the new forms, new fusions and the Diamonds reformed! I am definitely going to be doing fan-art of all of them! I was so happy we got to see Peridot and Lapis Lazuli in the finale and to see their new forms! Do you know that I find it strange? That Peridot now has a new form, since before she said that the Peridots of her class lack the ability to change shape as other gems.
Mainly this is confirmed the first time we saw Peridot regerate in "Catch and release" since she had no change in their appearance but to get rid of their robotic limbs, being the first time we saw a gem regenerating its previous physical form without any change, since other gems to regenerate seem that they can not use their old form twice again and always have to change something.

You know what? I never realized that until now. Maybe when she was poofed in "Reunited" she made a conscious decision in her gem to completely change her form. We don't know how long Lapis and Peridot were actually out for, so many she took a really long time and used a lot of power in order to get her new form?
