OverJoy AU Summary
TW: Suicide
OverJoy is an AU where humans have a generational magic curse casted upon them by monsters during the war before they were sealed away.
The curse, called "Dullining", is a sickness that causes them to feel endlessly sad and depressed.
It also infects their soul and slowly eats away at it and their HP.
However, most humans aren't killed by the curse itself, instead they simply give up and commit suicide.
This has caused a mass decline in the human population.

Frisk is a young human who, after a traumatic experience, attempted suicide via jumping into a deep hole.
Though he doesn't die and instead ends up in the underground where he meets the kind monster residents
that want nothing more than to help the poor human smile again before they end up like the king and queen's adopted child, Chara.
