Sorry, I thought I had submitted this a long time ago.This is my first pic of my human sonic characters series.
I like how Shadow came out, even if he's not really my favourite character.

I'm amazed at how much these manage to possess the original character's personality and your own style, simultaneously. Often Sonic 'humanized' pictures are achingly similar, but these are fantastically fresh.
The anatomy's terrific, but I have to say my favorite part of this is the faces--they just ooze attitude. Sonic and Shadow are such common favorites that they tend to be shunted into either happily heroic or darkly haunted, but you managed to capture a balanced image of their personalities: Sonic really does feel like he could be a bit of a jerk, but generally is good-natured if somewhat proud, and Shadow (who usually gets overloaded with seriousness) has a lovely tinge of arrogance to his pose and smirky face. I love it.
Apologies for the long comment, just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated seeing such original art in this area!

I don't like the recent take on Sonic "I'll do it because it's the right thing!", or the way many fanartists ( and especially fanfiction authors ) portray him, dark for no real reason. I always thought of Sonic as a cheerful guy, who does the right thing because, well, he feels like it 
Shadow... is a really nice character, but right now is overrated. Too much power, too much angst, while Shadow the Hedgehog should have cleared all his internal turmoil. I mean, he remembers his past, he understood who he is, why does he keep whining?
Classical anti-hero is better, in my opinion
