[pats Sally consolingly on the back] Oh Sally. The problem is that lately you're showing symptoms of what I've decided to call "Jean Grey Syndrome", or JGS. Often, you seem to be borderline perfect, and clearly capture the attention of men. This causes women who aren't perfect and cannot capture the attention of the one they love to feel jealous of you, and every attempt you make at befriending them, sadly, only makes it worse.
In fact, you're current situation in the comics shows that you've progressed in your JGS. However, so long as you don't develop any psychic powers, or find yourself needing to choose between Sonic and some other guy, then your situation is fine. Otherwise the writers might kill you off and it just goes downhill from there.

Glorious. Sally's face is amazing (especially the eyes, and how she manages to be very pretty without looking 'done-up', as I always imagined her to) and I love the dynamic here. Sally honestly looks befuddled.

Looking back at the other pics of this series, I have to admit I don't like them as much as I used to, but that's because I improved a lot since I drew them. But there are some details here and there that I still am proud of. Sally's eyes came out better than I thought o:
