Description Finished The Model, just gotta rig his swords and its fully completed .

I gotta say that I'm proud of how his model came out and is definitely my personal favourite.

Added some better 360 views

UPDATE 2
Added two animations of his run cycle and have modified the frame rate so its got smoother transitions

The flash is just a series of movieclips that are played back and forth based on the position of the mouse.

Each movieclip contains a timeline of pre rendered images set side by side. The 360's are 30 images long and the running is 20.

Thats it in a nut shell =3

One thing I've always wondered (and I hope I can be enlightened):
Is this a single piece (single mesh shaped over a skeleton) or is it composed of a lot of pieces (arms, hands, etc attached to each other)?

I've always been baffled by this.

Its all one single object (except for the armaments).
Though each body part, i.e, the head, shoulders, upper arms, lower arms, are seperate meshes within the object.

The only exception is the body/head which is a single mesh.

This is pretty cool. I like the little details, and the way the knees move/are attached in the run cycle. The horn in the back of the neck is odd, it's intersecting with the back while it moves in the run cycle, i.e. it should have some kind of 'hole' or gap or something to move in. The tail is very stiff, i would suggest breaking it into 3-5 segments or something to make it flow a bit, because atm it looks like a stick pointing out of his behind

One last remark. When I look at the run cycle from behind, it looks like he's running in high heels xD. You might want to change that, then again if you're happy with the design it's your choice. I'm just critiquing in an effort to help If i offended you in any way then I apologize.

Although i don't see what you mean by the horn in the neck XD, might be me being blind.

The tail is meant to be stiff as when he's running it would be acting as a thruster pack to propell him forward, I've just not added the flames yet lol.

As for the heels, looking from the side (not available in the swf above) it looks fine... might help if i added a floor to compare against ><.

Hmm, from what i can see the blade spike is in the position it should be. It moves along with the chest area.

It moves right, but it looks like it intersects with the back. This is hard to explain xD But looking at it now I can kind of tell that the shape of the horn fits the back perfectly, so it looks like its intersecting it; There's no grove where the two parts meet to indicate that they're two different parts. Look at this picture here: [link]

Can you see that between the two pieces of wood connected together there's like a small groove or like 'hole' which shows that they're two different pieces?

It's hard to explain by just text, it's more like something which has to be shown.


Anyway If you didn't get it then nevermind, not a huge thing anyway
