Lovely warm tone gradation across the image. The fact you used a long exposure really helped out here and adds to the interpretation and really sets off the photo by the high resolution being on the subject and all of her surroundings being agitated, or blurring because of the long exposure. The title also comes into play by juxtaposing everything, but the center of interest, whom has a steadfast look upon her face and is looking into the horizon. This adds both physically, as in the photo itself being powerful, compositionally, but alos adds in an emotional level- how she stays calm and composed, while nature happens around her. The cut off shadow is a good addtition to finalize the piece as a whole; that even being calm or tranquil, there can still be a piece of you amongst the choas.

This is beautiful and sad all at the same time. It's so quiet and peaceful but there's a definate longing in it a sad loneliness that I can't escape.
