I remember back when I played Marvel vs. Capcom 2 that I used to fantasize about seeing Dante and Deadpool in the next MVC game. Even though MVC3 never saw the light of day for about a decade or so, I still never gave up hope. Then lo and behold, MVC3 came out, and with Dante and Deadpool in it, no less. I can't tell you how ecstatic I was to receive that bit of news.

Now that it's out, I find myself fantasizing about seeing a whole bunch of other characters fighting each other. Who knows? Maybe I'll get lucky again. So, I thought I'd present a wishlist of sorts for characters I'd like to see in MVC4.

Chuck Greene from Dead Rising 2. Screw Frank West. What's he gonna do when Galactus brings the Power Cosmic down on us? Take his picture? I'd rather see Chuck take a Paddlesaw to that purple bastard's midsection. Or maybe he could bring out his Freedom Bear to lay down suppressing fire while he goes in for the kill with his Knife Gloves. The stuff this guy can do was made for games like MVC.

Venom, of Spider-Man fame, naturally. Leaving him out of MVC3 was a huge mistake. Hopefully with enough votes on that Capcom-Unity poll, that mistake will be corrected.

Q from Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike. Because dammit, SF3 characters need some love too.

I might get around to inking this if I get the inclination.
