Description OMG, FINALLY! After sitting on this for way longer than I wanted to, I am BACK IN WEBCOMICS! I had forgotten how much I missed drawing comics until I sunk my teeth into this new project. What new project? Oh, right! StarPower! It's got super powers, lasers, and space. What more could you possibly want? More pages? Well how about you go read some? Right now!

I really don't like the standard "superhero feet." You know, those weird diamond shape things that attach to most hero's ankles when they're wearing their skin-tight? Yeah. Hate 'em. So maybe I went a little far away from them and forced myself to draw real feet. Also, I think it gives the suit a bit of an alien vibe.

Kinda... It's definitely unique. It threw me a bit when I started reading, now I'm used to it. Hopefully she doesn't have anything colossally heavy land on her feet.

This is a rad book and I'm so glad I met yall at AWA 2013. I look forward to possibly sharing the artist alley with you next year! Just read through iss 2 and wish I would have grabbed it at the con. Got a great thing going here, I can see this as a cartoon!

Can't wait to see how this one pans out. Still holding out that Finders keepers might some day end up finished though.....

Like it so far. The artwork is great and the storyline is starting out pretty good. I've added it to my "Morning Coffee" run and waiting patiently for the next strip.

Nice one. Added to Feedly.

BTW, you have two entries on your RSS labeled "Archive Test" and "Archive Test 2". I'm not sure those go in there.

We're still seeing if we have any real control over the RSS. It's kinda auto generated by wordpress. The tests might be leftovers from the site development.

btw, the RSS is still weird (the image is outside the encoded content tag), eg:

Yeah, Chrome doesn't like the default RSS feed wordpress generates. The browser doesn't know how to display the feed without any XML data. Works fine in Firefox and IE though. We're looking into making it pretty in chrome as well.

If I can get permission to do so, I'd like to have this be one of the posters in Amber's apartment in my own web comic, The Ballad of Johnny Briz [link] . Not only do I find Mookie quite inspiring on going 11 years with Dominic Deegan in spite of what possibly could be the WORST fan-base I could think of--and I know all about hatedom groups--but his desire to make a comic that isn't dark, "a place that you'd want to escape to, not from" as he says it, lead me to make TBoJB in a similar vein.
