This is Blackhead, one of the heroes left out of the NES version for his extreme violence.Done for the video game theme challenge

yea i'll never know y battletoads doesnt get more recognition. they were as prevelent in my childhood as TMNT... and they fuckin morphed ther limbs into boss weapons!!! we need more of this

I think they're like Stone Temple Pilots in that they were written off from the beginning for being like something else; in their case, it was Pearl Jam, and as you stated, Battletoads like TMNT.
I'm with you on having had them both be a major part of my childhood. Morphing limbs without explanation...you can't get any more 80s than that
