Okay, I've tried saving it as both a .cur and .ani file, but it refuses to save as one of these. Any help?

Try saving it as a .ico, save it to your desktop then rename it as a .cur

I am now rocking the Pinkie Pie cursor.
And I'm going to share it with you all.

Download, install, open the file, and then decide what cursor you want. Then click the Create tab, and it's smooth sailing from there. Hope this helps! Enjoy!

I'm such a jerk, I forgot to add how to put them on. I'm using Microsoft, so for me I opened the Control Panel folder, Printers and Other Hardware, Mouse, Pointers, and then I made it from there.

when i open the image of cursors into the program there extremely pixelated. do you know how to fix that?

That's what it's going to do. Copy the cursor you want, and save it as a separate image. Then, open that image, and follow the instructions I gave.
