some things can never be logically explained. Especially if said thing is the internet.

If someone would be so kind as to give us a link as to how to make them, or how to add them, because I understand how but I can't do it.
I've got it as a .CUR file, but it's got a black background, and it refuses to register that I'm telling it to OPEN THE AWESOME CURSOR FILE!

It depends on your OS:
If you have Mike Rosoft Windows you will need a cursor editor.
If you have Linux all the programs you need are there, you just need to edit an existing package.
If you have Mac OS X I think it is impossible but you may be able to change the pointer if you play with the system files.
And if you have no OS you'll just get the message "FATAL: No bootable medium found, System halted". (you won't ever see this unless you utterly wipe your hard disc)
