AVENGERS ICE CREAM. Tony Stark is a genius (yes, he knows he mentions it every now and then, but it's not bragging if it's true).When Pepper asks him about an offer she received from an ice cream company, Tony knows people will go insane. There are Avengers toys, pyjamas, Halloween costumes, underwear (the Iron Man edition are boxer briefs, not thongs, thank you very much) and the horrendous Christmas ornaments.
But ICE CREAM!
He proposes it to the team and the responses are mixed. Natasha gives a raised eyebrow to her cherry flavored ice cream confectionary, that's almost a yes. Steve says he doesn't think children should eat more candy and he shows his 'frown of disapproval' at his assigned applepie and vanilla flavor. Bruce doesn't mind because it's not him but the Hulk and he likes melon and passion fruit. Clint argues that Bruce Ice cream doesn't really sound delicious anyway - an grapes, really, can't Hawkeye taste better, he's sure he tastes better than grapes. Thor is ecstatic. He wants a pop tart flavor - and he asks for lemon for Loki.
So they give it a go for a trial edition.
And yes, Tony might be socially handicapped at times, but he does realize that calling Steve Capsicle may not have been a good start for their friendship. But when he gets called in to assign names to the Avengers' individual boxes, he just can't resist. It's not his fault that everyone in advertising agreed and there was no responsible adult in the room to stop him (Pepper had to attend another meeting, so blame it on her).
So really, it's not his fault that he's currently standing in the Avengers' community kitchen and trying out different flavors of the Captain America ice cream that is now called ...
"Hey Stark, when you're done fellating your Capsicle, can I borrow one of your bots to get down my arrows?"

I love Coulson, I hope he will be back for Age of Ultron. It's a bit funny how expressive his face is for being such a superdupersecret agent. And Clint is such a special little snowflake, I hope he gets more screen time in AoU as well.

Thank you so much! Yes, Coulson is really trying so hard to keep everything inside but there is some major mental fanboy meltdown going on. He'll never eat the icecream, it'll stay in his freezer forever and he'll stare at it reverently every now and then.
I think Steve would be (probably the only) one to try and sit down for all his meals at a proper table until they all corrupt him with pizza on the couch.
I had boxes developed for all the characters (one incredibly boring weekend of therapist training). The only thing I am still lacking is a name for the Iron Man box.

LOL, if he doesn't get the signed vintage cards then he'll have the ice cream as a relic of his idol. And noooo, how long can Steve resist the temptations of modern life? Even Thor has become enamored with pop tarts, perhaps he won't last as long.

I think Steve has taken to modern life quite well. But I also think - while he'd probably try it every now and then - he'd be happy to eat healthy, fresh fruit and home-cooking with good ingredients because it grounds him a bit and because now he can. I can't imagine him becoming all that enamored with artificial food. I don't know why.
I know, it's so hard! I had Capsicle, Smash, BifrΓΆst (obviously), Spider Bites (sour and sizzling cherry), and I forgot what I had for Clint, ... but I never came up with anything for Iron Man. Frost Giants for Loki. Hahahahahaha.

Well, I guess once a 40's guy, always a 40's guy. But elsewhere here on dA I've seen a Steve who cries tears of happiness upon seeing a burger, because it's something that has remained constant in the world despite all the changes.
Hmm...for the Iron Man-themed ice cream, how about you take the name of one of Tony's suits? Because no doubt the ice cream itself will sport mark 7's colors. Anyways, doesn't sound really right...
You'd probably want to make some up for Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, though, because they're gonna join the team in Avengers 2. They'll be easy to do, I think.

Yes, I pretty much agree. I think he'd probably be so happy about different things that changed from back in the 40's. I also think he is a curious guy who is interested to learn about new things (both from a personal perspective but also being the leader of a superhero team). But I think it might be easier to approach the big new things if you have some things that keep you grounded, that are still the same. Like in Cap 2 (shameless advertising), you realize he still listens to the old music. Which I thought was a really nice touch.
Mhhhh, do people know he calls the suit Mark whatsoever? He might just say that Iron Man is so awesome as a name that it'd be a shame to come up with something else. And yes, yellow/gold and red. Mango and raspberry. Or something. Something with Blast? Because you could see him holding his repulsor out on the box, hahahahahaha.
Mhhhh, the merchandise will keep expanding. The falcon, too. Urgh, what would falcon icecream taste like...

Yep, I agree with having around the old stuff to remind you where you came from, to keep a sense of identity and not get lost in the modern world.
...hmm, how about Stark Blast as a name? Because I'm sure Tony loves to see his name on everything.
