Description
Drew a bunch of different angles and floating ideas for this character with the fox mask. I even have a name picked out, just gotta fine tune him a bit more.I am not 100% on what to do for a belt, or if to even do one. I definitely want to stay away from the tactical belt with pouches that I always seem to draw. Any ideas?

If the belt was two layered, there could be openings in betwen for quickly stuffing things like blades and guns in. Powerful magnets could be an alternate way to hold the ninja stars too, It shouldn't be a problem if the belt is tight enough to not flail when you rip stuff off it. The secondary belt could be used for gliding on poles and ropes, not to mention climbing and things.
If you're up for it, I may have an idea for a creative belt lock.

i like what youve got going with the belt up there, looks great. i do think he looks a touch too feline but it is a really cool design

the mask is a little cat like... i don't know if thats what you're going for but yeah. but he's looking good. why does he need a belt? i sash seems like a good idea pluse you could do some fun flowing jomping things with it.

i think if the ears were lengthened, then the mask would look fox-like, and if the nose/snout was slimmed down. other than that, looks like a cool character!

i'd think about little mini-belts and pockets on the extremities. A belt (and maybe a sash) could impede his acrobatic stylings (which from how you've drawn him, i'd say is his shtick).
Thigh belts, bicep belts, for quick access without hindering movement. Then you get to steer clear of the whole belt look and play with more "shadow to black" stuff with him in a scene- where does his costume start and the shadow end, etc

Instead of a belt why not add pouches to his legs, chest and arms (like a modern soldier). You could even have is base costume as simple black and add belts / bags / weapons as the mission or situation demands.

Awesome - as for a belt maybe a more Ninja style sash would work as in comics a lot of stuff can be hidden in a sash!

I like it though the mask looks more like a tiger or cat to me than a fox. Maybe its the cat like maw and wide nose. Fox's usually have smaller noses with a smaller pointier snout.

Dont if you know, it could be ninja/chinese history or something, but in Naruto, it has a division called the Anbu Black Ops, which are ninjas wearing similar type masks and black kit. Not completely silhouetted, mainly grays, but the mask it very much like it.
Maybe worth researching what they do for accessories if you are stuck.

I kind of liked the sickle better, just because we've seen a lot of ninja type characters with katanas. As for the belt, I actually really like the belt that you have on him at the top there. I just think this character is badass.

I think a simple sash would fit the motif. He could produce throwing stars and such from the folds, adding to his mystique...
