All that's missing are Orks, Necrons, and the Tau... Unless Dragons or Diamond Dogs can be Orks, and Griffons can be Tau? Oh wait... Tirek and the Tartarus inmatesΒ can be the Necrons considering how big of a powerhouse Tirek was and the mythology behind Tartarus... but that is seriously overkill.

Chaos is chaos, yes.
Sombra is similar to the Necron and Tyranids, but not entirely.
Nightmare Moon has no analog from 40k.
I cannot comment on factions outside of the Nightmare Shield.

"Changelings aren't Tyranids. They're Imperial." I know I've seen that part of your comic where they've all integrated. I was thinking more like they USED to be like Tyranids or at least almost before at some point.
As for other factions I just wanted to joke around and suggest some neat ideas if you ever plan on adding more factions in your future installments considering how much old and new canon for My Little Pony has expanded.

Thanks. In any case after more reading into the Nightmare Moon chapter, considering that you said the Shadow Ponies have no analog from 40k, they seem to feel a bit like the Eldar in terms of being territorial and using some stealth in their tactics, except nicer and not interested in inter-dimensional "orgies" as some would say (or so I've seen and heard about 40k lore). Up to you if that suits them.

This was a terrible idea. I've yet to find a better directory of MLP plz accounts than mlp-fim-plz, and it's got a terrible selection of serious expressions. I mean, it's got some nice angry expressions for SweetieΒ but I don't need angry expressions for SweetieΒ right now. And I was expecting better sadness for Scootaloo.

You might also want to look at . It looks like there are some in version 2 that haven't been put into version 1, and vice versa. It's too bad that MLP isn't one of the categories, though, since that would be rather useful to my purposes.
