I think with the driver's side up and passenger side down (Bonkie's reaching down for the button), it would actually have taken a passenger side door to open with its usual force to press against the ground and flip the car upright (with an extra half twist). Nice touch with the remote button actually being two semi-circles together. Not sure exactly where the car has started rolling toward in the final panel, but odds are on another hazard. We'll soon see.

You're quite right, of course! I hadn't thought of that myself, although I do think I recall adding open doors in panels 5 and 7 after the initial inking was finished, thinking I had made a mistake by drawing them closed. But no, the revision was actually the mistake this time! Sometimes one's brain can't wrap around these simple concepts apparently.
