Description:Hoss was born somewhere in Florida, but spent most of his life on the border of Mississippi and Louisiana. Hoss became friends with Rico after he saved him from becoming a meal to a local gator. Despite his appearance Hoss is very friendly and enjoys both animals and people alike.

I'm going with what he calls them by. For now, they are just background characters. If I do use them more often in the future, I might give them actual names.
