I really enjoy that ambiguity. Even with everyone's reactions to this piece, they tend to assume it is a "good" snake or a "bad" one, and the fact that people read the creature with different lens is an unexpected pleasure!

Omg I love snakes but I love ALL reptiles by the looks of it, it seems to be a huge white cotton mouth, without the white in it's mouth!

imagine this..
your boating (word??) on a lake and you feel waves brushing up against he side of the boat. you look over the edge of the deck and see a set of hollow silver eyes coming towards you. you stumble inside and grab your only defence. a harpoon gun. by now the eyes have revealed themselves to be a giant, white scaled snake. the water smoothly sliding down in-between the indentations of its scales is entrancing, relaxing even. The snake makes no move to attack, it just stares, exploring the bright lanterns on the sides of your boat. You quietly drop the gun into the deck with a shaky hand. and carefully study the creature.
