Seriously, the reason she looks so...well, lean, is because I wanted her to look like a fighter. If I were drawing, say, Jean Grey, I would definitely round her out to give her more of a pin-up/girl next door look, just because Jean isn't someone who engages in physical combat.

Yeah well you could still round her out a bit and have her still look like a fighter. Aside from the abs she looks anorexic.

I think so. They asked for a hi-res version, and I sent it to them, so hopefully that means I'm in! I'm really excited. This'll be my first published work. And, of course, my art will be in excellent company

Very nice coloring work! The character's costume and skin are excellent! The back ground sky is frightening. I think there should be more color variations with the wall and destroyed cityscape, but then they may lure the viewer away from Jiya, which is your subject.

Hmmm...good point. The wall and the background had a little more shading in the marker drawing, but a lot of it got washed out in the color stage. But I guess it was a happy accident, since Jiya definitely pops a little more.
