Frankly, it's kinda lame that Marvel can't do anything with this guy but put him in a wife beater or whatever lame t-shirt they have him in now. At least back in the day, he had a little swagger.

I really dig the designs on that show, and I LOVE their take on Iron Fist. Not so much his look, but the way he's written. The way he interacts with the other characters is awesome.

Apparently, you didn't read the issue where Luke went undercover at the Miss United States Pageant. At first he didn't quite fit in with the rest of the girls, but after he saved all of their lives from an evil bomber (and helped a few of them with their self-confidence issues), they crowned him with the honorary title of "Miss Congeniality". He still wears that tiara, and it holds great sentimental value to him.

Haha, you had me for a second (a long second). You're probably right, it's only an aesthetic. Looks cool in this drawing though. Reminds me of some ancient headgear armor things (technical term). Keeps him from looking like some random dude in a yellow shirt and chains.

Yeah, I love Greek history, so I tend to take those tiara things and put nose pieces and cheek guards on them, to imitate a Corinthian helmet. I to the same thing with Wonder Woman too, as a matter of fact. They just look cool

Yeah, I noticed that on the Wonder Woman piece. The nose guards makes the transition from wimpy tiara, to BA helmet, which is what you want when you're drawing characters like Cage and Wonder Woman.

I Love this updated version. The wife beater is a bit played. I wish they'd put him in some printed tees, or something. I've never been big on tights, so maybe I'm biased. I really liked the tattoos you put on him, too.
