So, I like the original Storm look, except for the fact that she's only wearing a bathing suit. And I like Jim Lee's Storm, except for the huge billowy sleeves. And I like the mohawk Storm. I don't know why, but this design invokes a snow-capped mountain in my eyes. Very elemental, and both beautiful, with implied danger.

I don't really like the mohawk on Storm, but... I actually really, REALLY like this combination hairstyle on her.

I understand that when Storm had the mohawk she was going through some hard times and was sort of... I don't think "acting out" is the right term, but it's all I got. Tt just looked silly to me, though.

X-CELLENT!!! Hands down, probably THE best design for Storm costume wise. A young, sleek commanding battle uniform!
However.....
The nose ring makes no sense from a flight/look perspective. Beaded dreads softly intermingled w/ the hair would make a fine exotic substitute without tearing Storms face up at 500 mph.
Very highly applause with this.

Hahaha, good point! I actually thought about adding the beads, but those have been done before by artists who are much better than me. Maybe, when she's flying, she puts up a shield of air in front of her face to keep her nose from ripping to shreds?

Oh, awesome! Reviewers give out negative reviews like candy. I just wanted to hear from someone who was an actual fan. I was really psyched about it, and I loved Year One, so I was really bummed when I read the review.

Yeah--part of me wishes they could have kept more of the inner monologue, but I can see why they wouldn't completely translate, and I think they were able to convey a lot of it visually and/or with short dialogue.
