Description
I created this for 's "Create a character for another series" contest. I'm absolutely drowning in work right now, but I just couldn't pass up this opportunityAlso, now seems like a pretty good time to introduce my new flatter, , who did the flats on this! He's helping me out a lot these days, but the guy blows through work faster than I can supply it! So, if any of you colorist types are looking for a flatter, holler at my boy!

VERY AWESOME! I absolutely LOVE this concept. Not that He-Man needs help kicking Skeletor's @$$, but your design for the MOS's uniform in that "universe" is fan-bloody-tastic!

Hahahaha, I think I would be the first hater in line if DC actually gave Superman a beard! I might not mind the insignia, though

Haha. Supes, does have a distinctive look that doesn't need too much modification. I can live with the trunks, but I would not object to him being redesigned without them.

I'm actually really digging the movie costume that they came up with for Man of Steel. Way better than what's going on in the comics right now, IMO.

OH, yeah. I really like the look and feel that they're going for. I just hope they don't try to make Superman too dark for the sake of being cool, but Nolan is a part of the crew, and Zach Snyder is pretty good as well. Just release a teaser for crying out loud!

I'm really really psyched about Henry Cavill. I just bought Immortals on Blu-ray, and it changed my freaking life!

SplendorEnt In reply to GavinMichelli [2012-04-10 16:21:38 +0000 UTC]
Really? It's that good? I honestly thought Immortals would be the movie with the identity crisis; it wanted to be Clash of the Titans or 300... or both, but wasn't either.. But, I heard good reviews from people, so it couldn't be that bad.
Cavill seems to be a solid actor, and could be a really good Superman.

It's basically like watching a painting. It's just beautiful. One of the special features is called "Caravaggio Meets Fight Club", and I feel like that fits pretty well. Now, don't get me wrong, the plot is kind of a mess. It's like they took 4 different movies and crammed them into one (which still makes it better than Clash of the Titans, lol). The visuals will sometimes remind you of 300, but where 300 was more like a video game, Immortals is a complete acid trip. Honestly, I found it to be more visually stimulating than 300. It's definitely an artist's movie.

Well then, a movie that visually stimulating definitely sounds like something I should watch! Sounds like a good time with some buddies. Fun enough too look at, but simple enough to not get bogged down in the plot.

Remember this? He-Man vs. Superman
It is expensive Grayskull Fans! Seems fun, but this happened even abject thing.
In July 1982, in the pages of DC Comics Presents 47, the Man of Steel and defender of Eternia exchanged blows in a typical crossover slot that once in a while, getting ready to DC.
The marc started showing a typical day on Eternia, Prince Adam with a very different from what we know from TV, being taught to fight with the head of the king's guard, Man-at-Arms. Light version of Conan, the king's son did not care with your training and just wanted to know dissipation. Shortly after, the player was taken to the city of Metropolis, on Earth, where Clark Kent in the previous version to reformulation of John Byrne, showed television news WGBS. It was not long and he was already in full flight as Superman.
New court. Adam and his cat,Cringer, were now in a tavern, breaking the face of a bully. After the fight, a Hawk-messenger, at the behest of the Sorcerss, the Prince called the Cave of Power. Unceremoniously, to receive them, she turned the boy and his pet in He-Man and Battle Cat. That's right! Nothing ray from skys, nor the sword of power and much less by the power of Grayskull. What could be more anticlimactic?
According to the Sorcerss, the Skeletorr and Man-Beast had taken possession of the Sword of Power and intended to invade the Castle Grayskull. Said and done. But just when he used mystical weapon, the villain inadvertently released an energy that created a portal in Metropolis.
Guess who teleported to eternity without scales.
A prize for that lady who raised her hand and said "Superman"!
The Kryptonian, then, was all over the two bad things, but crashed out with a blast of the Sword of Power. Complain to anyone that lacked obvious features with both place to fall, the Big Blue sprawled in front of the He-Man. A quick chat explained who was who and both departed, as buddies, towards the castle.
By the way, how does all this guys be understood? Even from another space-time continuum, one that had not speaking fluent English. Somebody take off the address of this correspondence course?
Together, the Man of Steel and Champion of Eternia rammed the Skeletorr, aided by Man-at-Arms, which appeared only God knows where. Unfortunately, the sword of the power had a villain thousand and one uses and made the Kryptonian be under his power. This is the let it obligatory fight scene heroes throughout mequetrefe crossover (not) self-respecting. He-Man took a history bludgeon of Supermam . However, the Super, at the time it would invade Grayskull led by the villain, got rid of their field and beat the bastard.
How clichΓ© is just silly, the bastard escaped, Superman viewed another portal space-time and took his leave, vowing eternal friendship to the hero's hair bowl. Bleargh! Worse than that only if they give their hands and walked towards the horizon close together.
Here is a story that, of course, the writer Paul Kupperberg, the artist Curt Swan, the inker and colorist Mike DeCarlo Gene D'Angelo want to erase the memory. The fans, no doubt, have done so.

In the grand tradition of Fisto and Man-at-arms, I felt like I had to give him facial hair since the full beard and the mustache are already represented in MOTU, I went with the Amish beard.
