Ada's cute and all, but I'm a big enough monster fanatic that the Ivy is what I feel like commenting on; you got the design down really elegantly, great texture and coloring. One of my favorite monsters really; I bought the old figure two-pack just for the Ivy, and still just have the Ada figure sticking out of its mouth
When I first played the game I thought maybe the Ivy were mutant plants growing overtop of zombie bodies. Would have been easier to grasp, I think, than a plant actually taking a humanoid form.

Well, I know a lot of Resident Evil fans are buying a Wii just for the Chronicles Series. I'm sure you could get one for under 100$ used, since a lot of the hardcore gamers are selling them off.
I'm sure they'll do Re5 Add ons later. Didn't they start with a PS3 one?

They had the 'Versus mode' addon for RE5, but that was something already made when the game was released (the new music tracks were even already on the soundtrack), but they haven't added any new content since, just a patch. It's been about 6 or 7 months since it came out, so I doubt they'll add anything new at this point. I guess we'll just have to wait for RE6! lol
I'd like a wii at some point, but I really don't have the time or money to spare these days. I'm also a huge Fatal Frame freak and was shocked to see Fatal Frame 4 is wii instead of PS3.

Money is an issue, for sure. But hey, it's a new reason to get a wii! I've played Fatal Frame: Crimson Butterfly, but I couldn't handle it. I'm a girly girl when it comes to anything scarier than Resident Evil.

lol.. yeah they never explained if the Ivy's from RE2 were remotely connected to the Plant-42 in the original. There was a lot of massive mutations with vegetation in the Hive/Underground facility, tho I can't remember if there were any plant mutations in the other games.

Plant-43 is an attempt to make a more sophisticated plant-42. And please don't refer to it as the hive, that's movie talk.

Arguably the worst part of what was otherwise a good game.
The laser room made me want to turn off the game and shatter the disc.
It was so slapped on and used that stupid button sequence stuff

4 was pushing it, and 5 destroyed any chance of there ever being another good Resident Evil. 4 and 5 are garbage in my opinion, but don't think I'm pushing my opinion. I'm just a 0-3 fan.

4 is just a different game. I love the concept of the Plagas; it just didn't need to be called Resident Evil.
