Description
Here's an example of cards based on the eighth and final of my template designs, featuring cards from each of the five Civilizations. Again, I had decided I would stop at seven designs when I was nearing completion of Version 7, but I was watching an episode of Dark Matter one night, and found myself getting an idea for a card template from one of the computer interfaces on display in one scene, and eventually this came into being. It was kinda fun experimenting with some more in the way of gradient effects on this design, sufficed to say it worked like a charm! Quite pleased at how this one came out as well! Some elements of the template are based proportion-wise on those of the designs used for the original game. With the exception of the card illustrations themselves, every element of these designs were all drawn out personally, including the Shield Trigger, Blocker, Evolution, Survivor, Wave Striker and Civilization emblems. The typefaces I used were Aclonica for the card names, Eurostyle for the creature races and card types, Myriad Pro for the ability/flavour text, illustrator and card number/trademark, Franklin Gothic Demi Cond for the mana counter, and Squada One for the playing cost/creature power.

Duel Masters belongs to Wizards of the Coast and Takara Tomy. This is purely a fan project done for personal satisfaction and fun.
