Description
Here's an example of cards based on the first of my template designs, featuring cards from each of the five Civilizations. I went back to this template a few times as I kept finding ways that I could improve upon it, such as the mana counter at the bottom and various relief effects here and there. Most elements of the design are based proportion-wise on those of the designs used for the original game. With the exception of the card illustrations themselves, every element of these designs were all drawn out personally, including the Shield Trigger, Blocker, Evolution, Survivor, Wave Striker and Civilization emblems. The typefaces I used were Aclonica for the card names, Eurostyle for the creature races and card types, Myriad Pro for the ability/flavour text, illustrator and card number/trademark, Franklin Gothic Demi Cond for the mana counter, and Squada One for the playing cost/creature power.

Duel Masters belongs to Wizards of the Coast and Takara Tomy. This is purely a fan project done for personal satisfaction and fun.
