This is really good. This picture makes me think of when you are just staring at the clock something so bad is going to happen. I dunno. I really like this though. Nicely manipulated.

Wow...it's just...wow. Its astounding how every single picture you make has the same "theme" to it...but they all seem different. I don't know, but this is yet another amazing work...you're definitely becoming the new ODotM.

It seems to me that the eye is looking at the window (reflected in it)... wants to get outside and be free of the worries of time and the schedule... but all it can see is the clock inside, binding it down to 9-to-5 drudgery.

exelente!!!

i full viewd and well, it was worth the wait. the detail of the flaky skin, it makes my own skin craw a lil, but it is still beautiful.
emerald green eyes are my favourite. so enchanting and alluring arnt they
i notice no hand in the clock face, could this, teamed with the decayed flesh signify time passes no more, and yet theres most definately life within the eye. just a thought perhaps

Nice manip. It really puts off an eerie vibe. In the iris i would have kept the mech/decay theme going - the green is contrasted well in color but its visual interest dies because its so featureless -besides the mesh that seems off balance and a little distracting. Great piece

Cool. Very creative.
I don't know what it makes me think of...
It seems it's been so long, all they see are clocks. ...That made no sense.

I really like this piece a lot. The texture detail you have here is excellent. Espececially in the retina. Fantastic job. The only thing I see that would help this piece woulf be the cut off the bottom of the larger clock. It looks a little awkward since it is poking out of the curve of the lower layer of the eye. Otherwise, fantastic job.

I really like this manip! The green and gray scale really compliment each other nicely. When I read the title and saw the picture, I could only think of the Megadeth song "Time: The Beginning" because it has lines that go:
Time taking time
It's taking mine...
And,
Time waits for no one.
Not even me.
Awesome job! Keep it up!

art-nouveau [2003-12-08 15:04:51 +0000 UTC]
it gives me such timeless feeling. you know, what i see is the eye of the time and it's pupil comes out from it. it's looks like trapped in the rock but it still living as an immortal being. artistically, i like the green/gray color set. but background texture a little too big in it's size (it's occupying (sp) too much place). nice piece overall.

that is amazingly cool. i love the green, i love the whole idea, how did you come up with it?

gearlock In reply to greendragon [2003-12-08 15:31:13 +0000 UTC]
well i had this idea for some time, but didnt know exactly how it would turn on (most of my ideas end up not being useful due to "technique limitations"
but, then, i saw some clock stocks at " stock-xchange" and suddenly have this idea... thats pretty much how i make my works, something like "by accident"
thx for the comment

you never cease to amaze me. This eye just speaks volume...that clock the skin...damn! my first reaction was sadness though, just because its almost like the effects of time. the skin graying and getting older but there is a glint of hope with the sharp green that flashes out at you. it gorgeous

eeeep!! more eyes! this is amazing! you do such beautiful work. it makes me think of someone whos life is going by too fast..that they live their life by the clock, and dont have time for anything else; you can see it in their eyes.
there goes the symbolism again!

Well, what comes to mind first was "hey, I was just looking for a wallpaper, this works nicely!"
Actually, I thought about the fact that your eye manips all manage to look distinctly different even though you're using the same basic subject matter. I think about looking into a clock and seeing a person inside...like they've been trapped there for many years. I dunno, it's probably just me.
I like it. Nice work
