Learnin' to use Krita more. Had to do an animation of Tohru - too lovable and innocent not to. Once again, I have to thank the great LunarisFuryAileron for writing his (their?) anime recommendations. Never would've found this without him (them?).chu chu yeah!

That's not the problem, the problem is that the first thing you mentioned was money. Especially looking at how much time it would take (I know about animations too) it is just greedy. Don't wanna do it, whatever, just don't ask for money like that.
You're not really good enough for commissions anyway. Maybe if it'd be dirt cheap, but then again in a long run you'd be better just trying to improve.

hey man, thanks for understanding my brand of humor. it's so hard trying to find someone that gets that when i talk about stuff like that i'm kidding. everyone takes me so seriously, it makes it hard to joke around with people that enjoy my art. and I'm too good for your money anyways, no dollars could buy this sort of skill. you've been with me for such a long time that you really do get me.

If the humor is crap, and it's not obvious someone's joking, then I assume they're serious. What's so funny about saying "pay me"?
You also need to rethink how you show sarcasm in text only, because "it's so hard trying to find someone that gets that when i talk about stuff like that i'm kidding."

no, maybe the problem is that you decided to talk to me, decided you didn't like how i talked, and decided to scold me for it. I made an animtion, titled "SKETCH", with the description "LEARNING to use Krita", and your comment expressed you want me to do actual lineart to make it better. no sh!t sherlock. I don't normally do animations. quality isn't great? need practice? of course. but if someone, somewhere, were to actually be paying me as a job to animate (hence the joke, see?) i would probably be able to spend my time learning and doing it.
maybe the problem is you have a lack of humor, and are hyper-aggressive in your comments. no solid critique, no useful information, just a lot of "i'm good so listen to me".
