first off, wonderful work!  i really like the composition of the piece, and the contrast used in the piece really makes the character stand out from the background.  well done ^^

however there are several things i would like you to consider when you want to make an image like this again in addition to the advice that gave you

first is the perspectieve of the image.  this is probably one of the most overlooked but most important parts of a drawing wth a boackground.  from the composition of this image, it seems like you are working in worm's eye perspective (a type of three point perspective that positions a vanishing pint up in the sky of the drawing, and is often used to exaggerate the height of things).  to more accurately show off this, i would advise to make a basic grid to follow while making the image (like This or This ).  having a grid like this to base your drwing around will really help you to achieve the effect you want and still have look believeable.  for example, i would make the trunks of your trees follow more closely along this third vanishing point and tilt the mushroom angle up slightly to really emphasize this type of perspective.  if you are unsure on how exactly to do this there are some great tutorials perspective and how to play with it Here and Here .  using perspective properly like this would also allow you to fix the issue where the ground and trees merge together and feel really flat.

second is your lighting and colour.  i really like the way you have made the contrast so that themain focus is on the character, but considering your main light source is the hole in the treetops, the shading on the mushrooms is very off (hence  's "flying mushroom" comment).  this wrongness of shading is further accentuated by the correct shading on the character herself.  also, do not be scared to really acentuate the sunbeams coming through the gaps in the trees  by making that area lighter and the other areas darker.  this will create a spotlihgt effect that will really draw focus tothe character and give her a fery isolated and lost feel, which is suitable for a character like Alice.  this leads quite nicely nto the second point i would like to talk about in this section, and tht is your colour choices.  i like the base colours, they all match eatch other ncely, however, the way you have shaded and highlighted them feels very boring and dull.  this has happened because you have simply darkened the colour to make a shadow and lightened the colour to make a highlight.  this makes colours look very dull.  to stop this dullness, use different colours in your shadows and highlights (like use yellow o highlight green and blue /pruple to shade it).  this will really pop the colours and make the image a whole lot more dynamic.  a good tutorial to get you stated on this way of colouring can be found Here  it is a very basic tutorial, but it should be enough to get youstarted, and you can search for more advanced colour theroy tutorials when you have a better understanding of the colours

lastly, some sun dapples on the ground would really benefit the image.  if you are unsure what these shoudl look like, i have found some nice reference images for you Here , Here , Here , and Here .  i would also liek you to nitice the colours in these images, and how here is a lot of bright yellow/green in the highlights and a lot of desaturated blue/green in the shadows.  when you paint you really really want to exagerate these colours to make it even better to look at.  have fun and play around with it, after all practise makes perfect ^^

you have done fantastic work! keep it up!  i hope the advice i have given you allows you to create even better work next time.  good luck with it and i look foward to seeing more of your works! let me know if you want any more advice etc. and i will gladly help you to thebest of my abilities ^^

i love how you draw the light flare into the woods
it give a good ambience to picture
but you might wanna loose the blurry effect on trees
it feels like shes riding the flying mushrom
but it still a good drawing tho
