So I've been doing some work on designing the characters for my MER manga, and I thought I'd let you guys see my workspace. Extremely messy, but the creative juices are practically everywhere.
I'll also give a little update about the character design contest, which is still going on (read fav.me/d73muai for more info). WingedOzelot is the only person with a submission, and in it he gave the ideas of having 'motor-powered roller skates' and 'small, inconspicuous solar panels', and I have adapted these ideas into the current design (which I will release later). In essence, I feel pretty good about Mera, although I am still accepting ideas. Marbles is going to be the harder of the two to design, but it's going to be fun.
I downloaded a 17GB archive of all the images Opportunity has sent back from mars... am I weird?
