Description

So, first I want to thank my friend Breeze for coming up with the name 'Cassedie'. I suppose she originally meant 'Cassidy' or some other normal spelling, but seeing as I like queer names I made a new spelling for it.
Cassedie is a witch, but while she tries to be as eccentric as possible, she really likes the common fairy-tale image of witches so she wears the hat as a sort of nod to popular culture. Her skills in magic aren't very developed, but she does her best.

The inspiration for Cassedie stems from a t-shirt idea I had with a witch riding a vacuum cleaner (instead of a broom). As I designed the witch, I began to make her more and more thorough until she became a full-blown original character. Also, her hairstyle is slightly borrowed from Therru (from Tales of Earthsea), but her outfit is my design. I'll upload a full-body sketch of her soon.

Drawn with pencil then Sharpie on 12x17 in. paper. I used my camera to take 20 close-up pictures to reduce loss of details, and stitched them together with Microsoft Image Composite Editor (free and fully automatic), resulting in a 178 megapixel image. After some tinkering in Photoshop, I ended up with a 120 MP lineart image. I colored it in Photoshop, and we have our final image.
