!! I absolutely love this!!
This piece conveys so much fuzzy warmth, lightness and glee, it's awesome, haha!
I.e. good job on the composition, their adorable expressions, choice of angle, level of details/focus and sense of volume/space >D
Hehe, as I don't know where the journey leads as of now...... but if you had about as much fun by drawing this as I have by looking at it, I'd say you added to the concept - mission accomplished and on-going!! Thank you for that!
*saves it as a desktop BG XD* This is one of the pieces one wants to look at again and again... =w=

I'm glad you liked it! >.< I was rather unsure of this piece... I love your pen strokes and I tried to emulate them as best as I could - as well as the shading and other colored effects you added (still don't know exactly how you did it)
Keep making Journey - I love seeing them and where they might be headed

XD Uhm... *squints* I think you used the same effects here, at least it looks like that? xD Sheesh, maybe i still have the Krita-file for Journey II in my dustbin... okay, let's see... greyscale shading is on normal layers (darker flat for the lake - flat shading with gradient tool - white airbrushed highlighting), flat colours in normal layer, photographed and adjusted in GIMP lineart on multiply layer, orange glow on colour dodge layer. ... it's rather simplistic, haha xD
Thanks, I will o/ This character is a rather clingy one in any case, he won't leave any soon...

I have a base layer of white and the lightest gray, a layer on top of that with the darker grays and colors, then two Lighten layers on the lineart mask (one yellow one orange) :3
