Description
So it's 1 AM in Singapore. My alarm goes off; "Moon is at Periapsis!" What does that mean? That means a supermoonβͺ - the closest the moon will get to Earth in its elliptical orbit. It means a big and bright moon. It means a great chance to get some really clear pictures.
This photo was created by compiling three or four separate photographs with different exposure settings to capture the most details possible.
Download full-size! The moon is about 300 pixels diameter.
