Modrons here is my redesign of the monodrone. I did not really like the robotic look to them. So I based the modrons off of biblically accurate angels and other divine beings with actual personalities. Making them be more like a race rather than just robots. Anyway, if you have any ideas for the other modrons please comment below.

Modrons are a race of immortals known for their zealous adherence to the principles of law and order above all else. Just as fiends were considered the embodiment of evil and celestials the embodiment of good, so were modrons the embodiment of the universal principle of order.

After the war between the gods and primordials ended with some of the primordials being banished to the elemental planes. Lord Ao noticed that the realms need to balanced so he created Primus. To maintain order and law with his creations the modrons. The highest ranked modrons were humanoid in appearance.

Modrons have a have a hierarchy with Monodrones at the bottom, giving them a sense of inferiority to higher ranking modrons. Despite what most scholars tell you Modrons do have personalities and morals but they put logic and orders first and emotions second.
Modrones that acted differently were considered strange by their peers.

monodrones were created directly by Primus in the Great Modron Cathedral in the plane of Mechanus. They were the source for all other modrons, filling the upper ranks by successive promotions when their superiors were destroyed or otherwise promoted.
