Description Introductions are unnecessary to anyone who's ever cracked open a dino book, but nonetheless: Triceratops horridus, 30 ft. of triple-horned Late Cretaceous heavyweight. Unique among its fellow ceratopsians (horned dinos) both in sheer mass & the possession of a solid bone-frill projecting from the back of its head (most related species' frills sported large structural holes for the purpose of weight reduction).
