Manipulation under Photoshop CS4 too mainly using Nik Sotware Color Efex Pro.

I really like the art here, but i have a small question, is it a retouched photography or a photo manipulation?

I'm not sure, actually. Wikipedia's definition is somehow vague.
The "raw material" is a HDR made of several shots. But I tweaked the lighting and colours a lot : for example, I added the rays of lights coming from the clouds and I used many effects from the Nik Software's Color Efex Pro plugin for photoshop to change the colours of the sky (It was something gray on the original HDR) and the colour of the soil (much much darker on the HDR. And I also deleted a few trees in the background.
I prefer calling it a photo manipulation because the photoshop job is really heavy. For sure, the "raw material" of this deviation is a photograph (well a HDR...) but, with a such heavy photoshop job, I believe it's now closer to a photo manipulation than it is to a photography. Or would you say that it's still a photography ? I'm interested to have your opinion about this. If you say it's more a photograph, I'll probably change the category.

Well I will like it the same way if it is a photography or a photo manipulation made of your photos. Both cases I like the image. I just need to know what is it so I can know where to fav it, in my photography folder, or in feature it in my photo manipulation new group. lol
Any way the deviant art definition of photo manipulation: "Photomanipulations are images that have been composed of two or more photographic elements to create something new."
so if you are using 2 photos to create this one, we are in.

As I didn't use any other photos than the ones used to create the base HDR, I guess that this deviation is no longer a photomanipulation according to the DA definition of "photomanipulation". It's made of several shots but only with the settings changing, not the elements of the photos... I'm changing the category right away.
