k these are just the leader designs i had with leader marks cuz i forgot to put them in the rest jeje also dont judge firestars mark cuz 13 yr old me made that ,when i binged all naruto (filler included) in less than a month ,thus it began my weekly wait for new episodes up until fucking now ,anyway thats the sad story of the birth of firestars leader mark ,holy shit ive been in cat hell for way too long…

ANYWAY leader marks are just well ,,some kinda spiritual marks only clan cats (clan cats who believe in starclan) can see!, they are given to leaders at the very end of the whole ceremony by the cat who gave them their last life , so that they can be recognized as ……well,,leaders of a clan,,, okok like its smth that clan cats just KNOW,,, its so bizarre cuz they just look at the leader mark and they know this dude is a leader THO the pelt of the cat doesnt change at all ,its a spiritual mark not like a real one? i know it doesnt make a lot of sense srry .
SO ,i have some cool hcs ab them, like where mistystar found out ab mothwings whole “i dont believe in starclan but im a med cat “stuff when she couldnt recognize her leader mark,,how rowanstars mark kinda started fading when he decided to fuse shadowclan with skyclan and didnt wanted to be a leader anymore,(same with pinestars! tho his collar kinda covers it,,so he doesnt rlly notices) ,,,and i guess bluestars too around her depressed moments THO at the attack of the dogs it just flared back to life making fireheart realize she was finally at peace with starclan , and also how firestar found out scourge didnt have the nine lives of a leader cuz he didnt have a leader mark !
anyhow they usually are around the face but can be in other places too ,,i try to make them ab smth iconic on the cat, like with onestar or bluestars,,,but u can also get some bs leader marks from me,,like firestars
