Was for Naimoka.com contest. But yeah, like the usual, I didn't win. I really suck at contest >_< I should probably stop entering in any drawing contests, cuz I am never able to win. >3< Must be something wrong with my concept and crap.Anyways, original characters. The theme was "in the name of love" but in my mind, I have this vision of some foggy room and two charas getting into a train or some gate. So yea, that was my idea lol. But I didn't really cg it that way.
I just realize my monitor is really different from the monitor I used to cg this, so it looks darker on my screen but lighter on some others. So now, I don't know what the contrast/brightness actually looks like XD;; (I need a new monitor...dumb bulky 15" XD!!)

HIC O_O YOUR CHARACTERS ARE GETTING THINNER D:!
I woke up this morning and found I lost 4 kilograms...I'm not sure if that was caused my yesterday where I ate practically nothing (not on purpose) but my belly felt suddenly a lot less flabbier.
...why the hell am I talking about weight issues whenever I see your picture nowadays D:!?!?!?!

I've always thought, the whole point of contests is to try and understand what the judge would like. Huge guess game out of experience and stuff, so the mroe you try, the better you get. Course I usually don't enter proper contests, and any i've done are all gaia related...stuff (or DA....so not too interesting. This is hong kong afterall)
Eg. School karnival posters like colourpencil and trad media over computer art. Usually with a lion and the school as the center of it all. The crappier the better (this is true O_o; )
PolyU webdesign looks more into masses of content and outside talk rather than design in general.
So keep trying D:! cause once you get the grasp of it, you'll probably keep winning XP

i just enter contests that look fun X'D (cause that way, even if I lose the picture will be pretty XP and I can whine and whine and whien and be an absolute nuisance.)
The day has passed, and I went up by about 1 kg. It's still scarey cause I still don't have my usual happy flab ;_; (...who in the world misses their flab!? What is wrong with me D:!?!?!?)
And yes they are actually very thin o_o;;; but then I draw people to BIG (Not fat...just big....) so i suppose there's a comparison XDXD (Curves are fun >_<

Damn, but this is awesome. *_* I think it should've won! I love the dull colors, and the theme. "Behind the Gate" is certainly very awesome, and the sense of adventure you get just from one image is really breathtaking! The people are so good-looking too, I'm jealous!!
