"My student!" Celestia exclaimed abruptly. Her voice startled the young unicorn onto her back in the silky wet grass. "Look over there in the sky. So many starts are out tonight." The alicorn smiled as she felt the smaller form clamber up onto her back and perch behind her ears.

"I never saw so many at once," Twilight Sparkle mused, perching her little hooves behind her mentor's ears. "Princess Celestia, why do you think there aren't any pink stars?"

The princess's ear tilted in confusion, wondering what sparked a question like that. It was then that she glanced over to her young student and noticed she was admiring her cutie mark. The princess smiled, watching her mane as it was caressed by the evening wind; glowing specks shining from every strand. "I'm not sure, dear. There might be though."

"Well how come I've never seen any?" the ever curious filly inquired. "If there are then wouldn't we have seen some?"

The princess didn't respond to her pupil at first, gazing into the distant sky, searching for a fleck of pink scattered among the luminous stars. "The universe is very large, Twilight Sparkle. We can't see all of it from here."

"Oh.." The filly sounded disapointed at first, then she climbed further over her mentor's head and leaned over, looking into Celestia's violet orbs. "You have wings. Can you fly us there, to look for the stars?"

"Probably not, dear," Celestia softly laughed. "But one day maybe we'll see a pink star.. Though I doubt-" She brushed a hoof over the youngster's side, inducing a giggle. "-that we'll see a pink star as bright as your cutie mark."

Twilight Sparkle turned onto her back, smiling. "Will we find a purple one like Spike?"

A soft chuckle was the response. "Maybe, dear...maybe.."
