Yes, Scar's a jerk.
Zira is more to be sorry for, than to blame. Her father and Scar manipulated her all her life. But she has also knew love by her mother, sister etc... She could have resisted to Kalamu and Scar and yet, she didn't. It is/was more confortable for her to be conforted in his "futurequeen/queen" role.
Her story is tragic because if thing have been a little different or if she was herself a bit less different, she could have had a better life... Away from Scar. Who know's, without this betrothal she could have been a different person and maybe... Mufassa's mate Oo
