"The idea is that Thavma is part of a crew and such that goes to different planets and bascially collects species from each, like a zoo of sorts. None that are technologically advanced in the way they are. It's sort of like this zoo thing, or the other aliens are used for pets. They never speak the same language, so that helps, and planets are typically pretty heavily researched before they go in. Then, a member of the alien species is held for testing, to make sure they aren't too intelligent and shit, though some peeps like that.
So Keke is a part of this planet that is more covered in water than earth even, like almost completely except for spread out islands and shit
it's sort of like an aquatic beachish mermaid paradise planet XD though they're called something else
Keke is the one captured and taken in for testing and such. They don't know a whole shit ton about this planet and they're trying to research it and such to see if the creatures there will be of any value and such.
Keke can't speak to them, though they have peeps who are working on translations so they can get an idea of whatever the hell he might be saying. Just some rough stuff. They don't care enough to actually understand him completely.
